The Asset: Daredevil #1
Daredevil #1 marks the first-ever appearance of the titular character, and with only 31 graded a CGC 9.6 (and only 2 graded higher), this specific copy is a true comic grail. With a recent cameo appearance in the latest Spider-Man movie, and rumors of a reboot on Disney+, Daredevil looks to soon re-enter the popular consciousness.
$140,000, which would net investors $27.40 / share, representing a 174% gain to the drop value of $51,100 or $10.00 / share on 1/25/21. Compared to the last traded price at $19.45 / share on 4/25/22, the offer represents a gain of 40.8%.
The $125k sale is a slightly closer comp, as a book with "off white to white pages" (like ours) vs. the $150k sale with "white pages".
The comic market has generally continued to trend upwards over the past year, therefore the two most recent sales may slightly discount the book's current value.
